Now that i know what I could loose, I don't wanna sing, the last chance blues.....
I've been listening to a lot of older music lately and older inspired music. I'd love to have lived in the 1930's or 1940's or 50's. I want to go back and be able to sing at an old jazz club. I remember when I was little watching Shirley Temple movies and seeing the way that the people acted back then... the time just seemed so much more romantic.
It was a most romantic interlude
and we were in a most romantic mood...
Our hearts were lost in reveree, I only knew you were close to me.
The music stopped, but we were still dancing.
Which goes to show that music has charms..
The lights were low, so we kept on dancing...
I felt the glow of you in my arms...
The band had left the stand and we were in heaven, dancing on a cloud way off in the blue.
The music stopped and people were glancing....
But we went on dancing for we didn't know....
Because the lights were low and we were in love...
I love Patrick Wilson, and I think he looks goregous in his new gap commercial. Also, I wish that one day something like this could happen.

so i feel like there is this triangle, of zack, franz, and ashley and they're all like best friends now and whatever... however it makes me wonder where i fit into this picture. right now i miss zack so much, and i feel like that doesn't go both ways. i just don't even know... i woke up today in a bad mood from one of my bad dreams. I just want to go back to indiana with my grandparents, i know they love me and would love to see me.

I really miss zack, it hasn't even been that long but for some reason today I really miss him.
so my last day of work is next friday and i am super excited about that, that place has totally been dragging the life out of me. everything there is just so hypocritical and weird. oh well. i'm almost done with it.
lately i've been getting hit on a lot, and i mean like unreasonably more than i ever have in my whole life... is it because i sort of stopped caring if people were looking? i dont know but i'm really not used to it, and it creeps me out. flattering but creepy.
i love driving, i drove home from my grandmas house today 3 hours and i just enjoyed the ride, it's really nice to just go and go, its like being able to not have problems for a while... well if you get into a car accident i guess you would have problems, but i havent been having those kinds of issues lately *luckily :).
so i move into the dorms in like 2 weeks, everyone is telling me that these will be the best 4 years of my life, and i intend to make them that way. haha college = taking a vacation from life.
tomorrow i'm having a 'me' day to just have some time to think and stuff
i'll probably end up cleaning my room, it makes me happy to live in a non cluttered environment. * hard to believe i know.

So, I'll be honest the past few days have been the days from hell, making me feel ugly, depressed, and worthless. I'm also super emotional right now (pms) which doesn't help at all. Last night I started watching "Their Eyes Were Watching God", you know the Oprah movie. I remembered having to read the book last year and wanted to watch the movie for a recap. Anyway, there was this one scene that really stuck out to me... The main character Janie gets hit by her husband, falls to the ground and kinda lays there for a few seconds, then she grabs the lamp post next to her, pulls herself up and walks away, with this expression on her face of complete emptiness, like she has become completely immune to everything around her because that's the way she has to be in order to survive. Now, no ones beating me up but, I feel a lot like Janie right now... life has hit me pretty hard lately with a whole bunch of things, but i need to learn to get back up and "roll with the punches". As far as lost emotions and being immune I feel like that's happening to me. Today at school during my 5th and 6th hours I just sat there completely blank not caring about anything at all. It just hurts when everything bad happens all at once, then I end up blowing things out of proportion, when really the things hurting me are HUGE things. I'm talking like my Grandpa, being on the verge of death... and I guess none of you have ever met my Grandpa but we have this mental connection so much so to the point where we can just look at eachother blankly and know what the other is thinking. I cried for such a long time thinking about having to live from day to day with him not around. It's just one of those amazing bonds that has even become noticable for instance the other day my Grandma was talking to someone when I was standing around not supposed to be ease dropping but she said something to the effect of "Oh yes, Bill (my grandpa) absolutely adores Tierney. He loves the other kids too but, since the very beginning they've always had something special." I couldn't help but smile.
